Dominated At Home By TCU

they shot well enough to win. Need to be able to stop opposing PG from penetrating at will and either scoring or dishing for open shots.

Defense needs to improve next year.

Let that sink in for a minute. In front of a sell out crowd that was energized, you get dominated at home by TCU.

dominated?....you really need to calm down...a 2 point loss in OT is not being dominated...jesus get a clue.

so let me help u..
turnovers (passing) 1st half very poor
base line defense (by everyone) very poor
penetration defense very poor (with the exception of a few like C Williams)
free throw shooting...well this is why Garza & Nunge will play next year...size & they can actually hit a decent % at the charity line.
the reset of the foul rule in OT doesnt cut it.

No **** that... if Baers foul was a flagrant, Jobo getting hug on the last possesion is intentional... that is horseshit. I hate this dumbass sport and love this GD team.

That I agree with...double standard.

So we lost to great TCU team and great Indiana team, that both have so-so records. Maybe the fact we let both those teams shoot a lot of open layups and open 3pt shots has something to do with the losses. If you play defense you can bring that every game. We don't bring it.

Holy Over Reaction Batman!

TCU was in control most of the game and did out play IA but domination it was not. First half turnovers + lack of defensive intensity (especially on the perimeter) is what did IA in.

I'm trying to be diplomatic here but come on....dominated?

We shot free-throws terribly. That has nothing to do with TCU and we lost by a narrow margin. That's nothing like dominance by TCU.

We turned it over at the worst rate all year. Some of those were forced by TCU but many were due to just bad plays by our guys....TCU did not dominate us.

They made some good plays on offense and we didn't play well on defense. They clearly did not dominate us.

In fact if you try to be positive instead of negative it's clear that we could have easily won this game if we just played a little bit better in one of those areas.

To say that we were dominated seems kind of like a middle school kid throwing a fit, because it's just not even close to true. TCU has to be feeling very fortunate that is badly as we played they were able to eke out a win by two points.

You can't bring it if you don't have it. Defense has been the weakness of this team all year. It will get better.

Maybe those people who seem to think we are just fine without a PG who can drive/dish will finally realize how important it is for success...particularly in the post season.

Knocked Kansas out of the first round of the Big XII conference tourney a week ago. Iowa has plenty of things they need to correct, but TCU is a good offensive team. What a stupid post by the OP.
Thought TCU played very well, and was well coached. I think Iowa was well coached as well, just had too many turnovers and missed free throws to win a tight game.

Oh course it's only you who makes these posts after losses, I'm sure you will make 4 more posts in the next hour similar.

The refs weren't terrible, but weren't good in this game. The F1 on Baer was a joke, bad call. Acouple cleans blocks called fouls.

The little things just win you games didn't happen. Joke had 2 shots where his toe was on the 3 point line. Joke missed s FT, so did JoBo both miss once every ten shots. I believe they both just shot 2.

We lost because of turnovers, FTs, bad calls. This was one of the best 3 point shooting games I have ever seen they hit like 16 ot 17 and shot over 50 from 3, and lost!

Also we lost at home but this couldn't have been a B10 crew, that's what helps a lot in home games is home cooking.

Wow, I feel better that it was close and that they beat Kansas. Lol.
Just keep accepting mediocrity and making excuses.
Reminds me of football. Except we get destroyed in bowl games now.
