Prohm seems like this whole thing might be a little too big for him.. Down 4 they nail a three and the place goes NUTS and he calls a timeout.. Little things like that just make me wonder..
WVU was without one of their best players too. And were down 25-10 early. Pretty impressive.

They lost to a team that got blown by a Florida team who lost to Purdue. Yet, somehow, they will pull out the "Big 12 is so tough" card all week now. Whatever makes them feel better about themselves..
Wow, great reasoning. They lost to a team who lost to a team who lost to a team. That reasoning could never fail in college basketball. The big 12 is a really tough conference also.
Riiiight, and don't worry about that that Texas A&M game. Iowa State was still the better team, just like Iowa State lost to West Virginia tonight, but is better than West Virginia. The Big 12 is so amazing. Whatever works..
Wut??? I never said isu was better than either of those teams. I said your reasoning of team a beat team b beat team c is idiotic. Which it is. Which makes you idiotic. If you can't figure out the big 12 is tough then you just might have a learning disability.
I have seen this movie 4-5 times and the ending is the same. isu grad claims the Texas 10 is so great and then when the tourney rolls around the Texas 10 pees down their leg and is watching from the sidelines after the first weekend.
Just like beating Michigan State isn't really a quality win for Iowa. (They beat Kansas by the way). This is the Clown logic we are forced to deal with. It can cause brain damage from repeated exposure, for sure. The Big 12 being so tough is always a good fallback excuse for any clown loss.

Because those ratings are very accurate, yes. It's ok. Iowa State is a good team because they are in the Big 12 conference. It's ok now.
By the above logic, UNI is better than us. Transitive property doesn't work in sports.
Don't bring up the Texas 10 performance in the tourney the past 5 years that isn't playing fair.

Having a weak conference is consistently having pretty much all teams exit the tournament early.
Michigan State last won it 2000.
But in recent history, the Big 10 has easily outperformed the Big 12 in the NCAA tournament. That really isn't even a debate. Does that mean the Big 10 is strong and the Big 12 is weak this year? Not necessarily, who knows... only time will tell.
FYI: Last year, the 'buffoons' who questioned how strong the Big 12 was were right.
Oklahoma is legit. Have good guards, the National POY on their team and an elite coach. Best team in the country
I'm not saying the Big 10 is the best, or the Big 12 is the worst. Just pointing out how a narrative can be and has been wrong. In fact, what you are asking me to do is exactly what I'm talking about. Any ranking I put together is.... worthless. IT MEANS NOTHING. So I won't take the bait, nice try though.
I would rather just let the season play out and see what the NCAA tournament tells us.

Sounded to me like crowd tonite was starting to get tired of watching this team play only as hard as they have to.
This what I love about isu grads. If their myths are tested they lose it. Someday the Texas 10 will live up to their over ratings. Same with football, eventually it has to occur right?
