I heard this too - and I keep thinking about it. Two things hang me up - at least tied together.
1. While I believe there will be subsequent commitments due to Bo's decision, I don't know how we can assume Miller and KBassett come too? Miller is already the #2 ranked at his weight as a Sophomore, and is likely to be the overall #1 (or close) by the time he is a senior. Does Iowa have to give him a competitive NIL offer? He (and KBassett) will likely deserve something.
2. The 5 million deal is rumored - yet Bo said everyone was comparable but not near that amount. Could both sides be right? As mentioned by Sett, "Package deal" was used by several people - right or wrong. Could the "5 million" being floated around somehow be an offer related to multiple people (even if they haven't formally offered the youngers)?
Not saying any of this makes sense.....just trying to make sense of all the conflicting information and finding a way to "mathery" it like vhsalum is looking for.
