I think a lot of this is Reese trying to coattail the superstar. I don't believe she actually stands for anything but is trying to create a rivalry with Caitlin knowing she's the future of the sport. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

Thanks but no thanks. Not earned. Yes the refs sucked, but one team left with the national championship trophy and it wasn’t ours. Now if a player from LSU is deemed ineligible, then we can talk, but that isn’t happening. NCAA doesn’t care about “rules” anymore. In game rules, academic eligibility, etc. College sports is the wild west much like it was 70 years ago when Evy was able to “kidnap” Alex Karras to recruit him.

LSU earned for being champions.

Iowa (and CC) earned for raising the profile of the women’s game to a previously thought unreachable level.

LSU - and specifically the vocal idiot - will view it as a slight of course. But the reality is, CC and Iowa was the reason half the people tuned in and have given so many other women a rising platform.
