When's the last time a team was invited.? Did it happen during The Trumpster's term. ? I think probably Dr. Jill --this was her first time to a championship game and she got caught up in the spectacle. But no, too much problem to invite both.
Which is why I wish it would happen. Can make up for all those years that teams disrespected the invited and turned it down while our last president was in office.

I initially thought the same. However, upon further review, I think it would be fine for Iowa to go if for no other reason than to piss off that Reese bitch. It would also under-score that Iowa was invited, in the words of Jill Biden, for their “sportsmanship”; something that the LSU program was lacking in.
That’s the point of Iowa going. Does anyone, not involved with LSU, have respect for the antics of Coach Mulvey, Reese, or their point guard who has had a couple assault charges. Reese left Maryland as she was academically ineligible, yet she’s able to get into an SEC school, like LSU. That says it all.
Yes, so what’s the problem? It would be a perfect way to teach Reese a lesson in humility.
Last I checked Jill Biden isn't required to invite anyone to the white house. As first Lady she also gets to invite anyone she likes and most certainly doesn't need to run it by Angel Reese. The white house isn't required to invite the champion of anything to the house.
This isn't about a participation trophy because that would presume that winning a trophy makes you entitled to visit the white house. You aren't entitled to that no matter how many times it's happened previously.
