Duke Miami ending

3 of the most improbable finishes at times expires in college football this season happening in consecutive weeks, crazy

Those officials should never work another game. Not only did they miss multiple blocks in the back, one of the players knee was down with the ball before he pitched it.

I've watched that replay 3 times now...I count two illegal blocks. It does also look like one guy got tackled before lateraling also, but it's not a good angle to tell for certain.

Also have to mention Miami's 12th man on the field just before the touchdown. Check out the player with no helmet running onto the field to celebrate. He made a 50 yard "illegal" dash down the sideline half in and half out of bounds. But obviously ran onto the field when his teammate still had about 5 yards to go.

I get the feeling there will be some ACC officials not working the next couple weeks.

Non-issue. Dead ball foul so would not have impacted the play.

What is the rule for illegal participation in a situation like that? Didn't they change showboating into a non-deadball call, so if you showboat at the 3 yard line its 15-yards from there, not after the TD? Would illegal participation be the same? If not, I assume Its different if he affects the play?

Saw on ESPN that the refs and replay official at the Duke-Miami game will get 2 game suspensions. Reasons were for missing the knee being down before the backward pass, missing several blocks in the back, and missing a 12th man on the field when a Miami player ran onto the field before the play was over. Just makes me wonder if these were the same ACC refs that did the Iowa-Pitt game.

They really should consider revoking that win from Miami. Could you imagine being a Duke fan right now?
