I'm a huge hawk fan but I think I was equally disinterested in this game. I think I know why (1) we didn't win big ten. (2) devastating loss in big ten title game (3) too many bowl games!!! It's just another game anymore.
-I wasn't excited about the rose bowl invite from day 1. All year was about being undefeated and going to cfb playoff. When that balloon burst it killed something in me and obviously the team as well. As for the rose bowl itself? Winning it doesn't carry much weight when your not even the best team the conference has to offer. It's a consolation prize for losing a game we should have won. Winning the game used to mean you're the best of the big ten and pac 12. Now it means what?? Nothing. A nice trophy.
