eBay classified sold for $9B

i have been buying and selling on there since 1998 and it has been pretty lame lately, dunno if these guys will improve it or not

Since amazon became king I’ve not used eBay once. Too much counterfeit and shady sellers/buyers.

I don’t use it much either but it’s still a good resource for hard to find repair parts or used clothes (kids jersey, sports equipment, etc.)

I use it roughly once every couple months. Mainly used items that I know are exactly what I am looking for.

I own a couple snowblowers and lawn mowers that would not be running today without parts I've gotten for them off Ebay, almost always for ridiculously inexpensive prices. I've also bought used old school electronics/parts galore from them.

Hope nothing changes with them...

Was that your limit or did site traffic pick up around the deadline and boit you?

Its been 15 years since I even thought of e-bay. But I might add that I had the idea first.

It’s their classified ads business. eBay remains a publicly traded company, and people continue to talk shit about Bobby Bowden on it.

I’ve never really gotten into EBay or Craigslist for buying used items.

Too many people ask near new prices, and don’t discount for the fact that there’s an inherent uncertainty as to whether a purchaser will actually receive what he/she thinks they’re buying.

To be fair, most every seller in every medium overvalues their stuff these days.
