This is according to Dochterman: "Among the names floated as Podolak’s replacement is former players Dallas Clark, Chad Greenway, Anthony Herron, Matt Bowen and Danan Hughes."


Clark has made some media appearances over the years and Anthony Herron has been a pro for several years now. Not familiar with the the experience of the others.

Those were fun, innocent, times. Harry blasted on Bud, talking about beer, Steve blowing cigar smoke in Harry's face, which Harry hated, Harry bemoaning about Greg Maddux, who went to my favorite team, his son and him doing Braves/Cubs games next to each other, and my personal favorite, Harry, saying the names of awkward names backwards. My personal favorite: Expos later Cubs player Mark Grudzielanek.

Im a little surprised Matt Vandeburg hasn’t been thrown out there. Former player that has or at least had a podcast with Laura. Plus I’m sure Laura might have some pull with her connections to iowa athletics.

I think Bowen or Herron would be good. They're both on 670 the Score a lot and Herron actually does color guy work for BTN. Would Rob Brooks get the first bite as new play by play guy?

As a Cyclone fan I think Jess Settles does a great job but I'd like to see him stay where he's at.
