Educate the Nole.. Who is Iowa’s biggest rival?

It really depends on where you’re from in Iowa..... along with your age


I’m guessing the older posters like @LuteHawk @joelbc1 or @soybean hate the Gophers or Badgers. People who grew up in western Iowa likely view the Huskers as our biggest rival. We’re talking football here. It may be different for basketball and wrestling.

I always thought the 80’s ISU-Iowa wrestling rivalry was about as heated of a rivalry we’ve had.

I grew up hating Illinois and most especially Minnesota. Wisconsin was an afterthought.
