Sitting at the car dealership, getting an oil change, they have the TV on 70’s music. A performance of Elton John’s performance of Benny and the jets from 1980 came on. Being too young for that time and I’m a metalhead anyway, I had never saw that performance before. I have to admit that was pretty sweet and the guy was/is a hell of a performer.

Trivia-the single was not really recorded live. When they had finished the song they thought it lacked something. So they added the sounds of the crowd to make it sound like a live recording.
