Empty stands

Just wish back in the day when they built Carver, they would have considered a site that would have included ample parking and access to mass transportation.
Cambuses run from downtown and (I think) Hancher. With the Kinnick lots/ Dental lots / Finkbine / UIHC ramps and Newton Road ramp there seems be a lot of parking options.

I haven't been to other Big10 arenas; which ones are better with respect to parking? Is the Wells Fargo Arena better?

Let’s cut to the chase....those that complain about the turnout and are within an hour drive of CHA are just truly SNOWFLAKES. The weather was nowhere near as bad as last Friday’s game. The wife and I are both 72 this year. No issues get to and from Carver...if you have a plan.
You weren't there. Your seat was empty. Stop being a liar.

my trip from the west side of DSM for Maryland was 7 hours round trip
Hats off I ate my tickets due to those conditions and would have had young kids with me. Contemplating Wiscy game now but it is very hard coming from the Metro on a week night with kids.

I sold my Michigan tickets the next week, but mainly due to family stuff.

Is this whole deal a joke with the OP? Wednesday night, against Rutgers, late start, crap weather. WTF? He is obviously an ISU troll. Well ISU (which is a claimed basketball school but they suck) was selling tickets for 10 bucks for a home KU game in perfect weather. And seats were still available. I have no dog in the fight. I have 4 football, basketball and wrestling ticks and maybe make 1-2 football and basketball games (make almost all wrestling) and give the rest away so long as they go. How dumb are people? You think you are putting 15k in Carver for basketball on a Wednesday night with bad weather tipping at 8 against Rutgers who may be ranked but still Rutgers? Whatever.
