Enhanced interrogation techniques?

Great point, because all the good up to date intel is obviously possessed by someone you have detained for years.

Indeed. We should keep them locked up for life off continent and let intel come in for the duration of their life. Of course we can't let them go now though because our torture probably made them into terrorists

Oh is that why Belgium has seen such acts happen? They are bombing and occupying the Middle East......

Crazy

May have something to do with a massive regional destabilization through war and overthrowing dictators that lead to the creation of all sorts of new terrorists groups that have decided to take their show around the world.

Still doesn't explain why these radicals felt that Belgium was the source of their strife.

Once again offering milk and cookies over a long period of time doesn't give you up to date Intel. What are you not understanding?

Why do we even have to have the conversation? The Senate hearing regarding the CIA's tactics showed that the most valuable information that was gathered came without torture

How do you go about this is you can't use water boarding or sleep deprivation to get info?
I've given this hours and hours of consideration... For known terrorists, as long as the interrogated can make a full recovery within 6 weeks, it's acceptable. Mental issues don't count, they're full of those already..

This isn't for terror suspects, these are KNOWN terrorists (so gitmo detainees qualify).

I'm just cute period

Is he polite? - Is he a brown man?
Hey, Mikey! Mikey, is he cute?
Is he brown? - Maybe he'd like to come in and join us for a cocktail.
Is he polite? - Is he a brown man?
If he's polite, have him come in. If he's polite, let him in. Is he clean?
Have him come look. Have him take off his shoes.

Just ignore the information from the experts in interrogation, ignore the data (ever heard of the Stanford study?), ignore the unintended consequences (how much blood and treasure do you suppose Abu Ghraib ended up costing, and how many terrorists created?), just ignore your inherent contradictory stance (no cookies over a long period of time to get up to date intel?) and stick to simplistic idiocy because you think 24 was a documentary.

Whatever works for you.
