DARBY just caught a td and ENO is looking like a beast on some runs. Could have used both this past year. Benjamin caught a pass and made a nice spin for more yds too.

I really don't know if he is any better then Kelly martin.. he wasn't going to break through the line up of Wadley and butler this yearWe are not missing Eno.
Frank Darby and ENO Benjamin. Guys who had been committed to Iowa at one time if you are actually unaware. I think darby had been a part of the 16 class but not 100% sure.who?

Thought it might be. They certainly could have played in our bowl. Furthermore could have contributed throughout the season. Darby might have had grade issues, but i'd certainly take ENO on my team.Think it was sarcaism.
Point is neither would have played a down in our bowl game.

Gotcha slick.Eno wouldn’t have sniffed the field for us this year.
Well it's true, he wouldn't have played over Wadley or Butler.Gotcha slick.
Of course he wouldn't. Those 2 were not the only running backs to carry the ball this year. 2 other rbs "sniffed the field" this year. Butler was out several games. Eno was just as game ready as Young or IKM and would have played just as much if not more than either one of them.Well it's true, he wouldn't have played over Wadley or Butler.

You win bruh.Guys ahead of him as talented and had already burned redshirts.
You win bruh.
I do think Darby would have been a receiver more along the lines of what we need right now. Too bad for them grades.

Trash poster. Thinks he's knows something cuz he's a gold member. He was onboard with the Iowa way but some coaches screwed him. You might have noticed that they don't coach here anymore. Actually you probably didn't notice.Trash thread. Once Eno showed his true colors he proved he wouldn’t make it at Iowa. Hopefully he’ll do well down in AZ ,.. not an Iowa guy. Reminds me of the WR who quit in the middle of the year ...
You really think Eno would play ahead of Wadley and Butler. I doubt if he would play ahead of Toren Young.DARBY just caught a td and ENO is looking like a beast on some runs. Could have used both this past year. Benjamin caught a pass and made a nice spin for more yds too.
All involved were in the wrong. Eno doesn’t get a pass.Trash poster. Thinks he's knows something cuz he's a gold member. He was onboard with the Iowa way but some coaches screwed him. You might have noticed that they don't coach here anymore. Actually you probably didn't notice.
I never said anything about him playing in front of Wadley or Butler. Read the my other posts. You really think Eno would play ahead of Wadley and Butler. I doubt if he would play ahead of Toren Young.

Serious question....what actually happened? I have not heard the actual true story.Trash poster. Thinks he's knows something cuz he's a gold member. Maybe so, maybe not. Why does it matter? The Eno mess blew up , and evidently there was blame enough to go around. As others have mentioned we're fine at RB. From my recollection the staff tried to get Darby to go to prep school to get his grades in order. It worked out pretty well for Shonne Greene and some other players. He made a decision to go another route. Good luck to him.Of course he wouldn't. Those 2 were not the only running backs to carry the ball this year. 2 other rbs "sniffed the field" this year. Butler was out several games. Eno was just as game ready as Young or IKM and would have played just as much if not more than either one of them.

This! Don't forget about the ones that decommit. I've seen posts that broken limbs are wished upon them, never see the field, etc. etc.Why do people feel the need to talk about players who never got here? I will never understand the fetish of wondering about what might have been. I am only focused on who we have and who we have coming in.
Watching the way he ran the ball as well as the one reception he had in Asu's bowl game. Very much physically ready.Curious what you base this on.

I also watched plenty of his high school highlights before he committed to any school. I don't need to qualify my insights or opinion on his readiness to play by you.You knew he was physically ready the entire year because of this bowl game after the season took place? Well, then, good for you.
There version of the story I am familiar with regarding Enogate was that he wanted to visit ASU and told coaches White and or Kennedy about his intent to do so. Those 2 coaches supposedly failed to notify KF. Eno's offer was then rescinded and coaches White and Kennedy relieved at seasons end. I can't say this is unequivocally true.Serious question....what actually happened? I have not heard the actual true story.
Watching IKM throughthe season ... ball security was the main thing holding him back from getting more touches during the season. All the same, IKM's production during the season still far outshone Eno.Watching the way he ran the ball as well as the one reception he had in Asu's bowl game. Very much physically ready.
