ENO And Darby getting playing time late in Sun Bowl

I also watched plenty of his high school highlights before he committed to any school. I don't need to qualify my insights or opinion on his readiness to play by you.

You are right. And we don't need to qualify our ignoring, or laughing at your having watched a bowl game and decided how ready a player was for an entirely different football team with an entirely different offense.

Would have been nice if Darby had his grades in order and Benjamin had good character to go with his incredible skills. They certainly would have been decent contributors to Iowa's success as a program going forward. We've certainly found what seem to be decent replacements at the rb position. Not sure we really had a good receiver replacement for Darby.

Prior to the bowl, Eno had 100 yards total rushing and negative yards receiving, all season. In the bowl, he had some success rushing against NC State's scrubs after ASU was getting blown out. I don't think you can say based on that he is a better option than what we already have - character issues or no.

I was just as excited as others when he was on board at Iowa. However, since it is 2018 now, I like most have moved on. I am more excited with the RBs we have on board. IKM and Young look solid and everyone forgets about Kyshaun Bryan. Eno would add depth but we are going to be fine.

As for Darby, he didn't want to go the Prep School route.

Best of luck to both.

I have moved on and my feelings are not hurt by the events leading to these players heading elsewhere. I was merely commenting on some talented sguys we could use. I believe the staff could have developed Eno to be just as effective as our other underclassmen backs this year.

I'm pumped about IKM and T. YOUNG. They will be quite the duo. Hopefully something like a Jermelle Lewis and Freddy Russell type scenario.
