Some may disagree, but I really felt he helped to change momentum in the 1st half when Nebraska was up. He played really well in the paint in the 1st half.

He was underutilized prior to Freeman injury. There should have been more two big lineups.
Fran worried too much about offensive spacing and not enough about rebounding and interior defense.
I never thought Brauns could contribute like he has the past few games. He cannot shoot, but he knows his limitations and plays hard. He executes the pick and roll better than any other big, including Freeman.
I was mad Fran didn't go back to him late and stuck with Dembele but Ladji got it done.
Ladji has also been playing well. He is starting to get it that is strong enough to get where he wants to go. Not sure why he was playing so tentatively earlier in the season.
Fran should have gone big all year. Playing Payton at the 4 has been a defensive and rebounding disaster. Riley should be getting more minutes too.
definitely. Feel bad for him that he didn't get more playing time prior to Freeman opting out. A home-grown guy who cares.
Evan is a beast and solid defender and rebounder and totally underutilized during his time here
Second half Ladji was different than 1st half Ladji. I still believe Brauns is the better option but I'm glad they both get to keep playing.
Yes, I wish he had gotten more time earlier in the season.
