Staying at a big cabin near Dubuque this weekend and there are 20 channels on satellite. Luckily one of them was... pew pew pew ... the Iowa Hawkeyes 3-point shooting show brought to you by FOX.
In Omaha the Fox station just ran a scroll across the bottom with the vote. They never broke in at all.
Minneapolis St Paul broke in with BREAKING NEWS. They then went thru the entire roll call. Couldn't believe it. They eventually went back to the game.

Doesn't surprise me this happened in Minnesota. Not problem at all here in sw iowa..thank God
I used to like Gus a lot, but the last couple of times he has done Iowa, I thought a lot of the game went right by him and his player analyst.
There will be a replay, but since this was televised by FOX and not BTN, it won't be available until Sunday......
The local affiliate returned to the game at about the 10:00 minute mark. I like to think my tweet/text/call/email all made them do it. I reminded them I could watch politics on Fox News but couldn’t watch basketball there. Also mentioned their failure to discuss the votes for acquittal by our senators.
I thought they were both pretty bad. Gus has become something like Vitale with his own schtick. Jackson always used to include a few barbs aimed at Iowa, but this one he played pretty straight up. Toward the end, they just seemed to lose interest in the gameplay. I guess a 30 point lead would have the tendency to cause a casual observer to focus on other things.
Frankly I was more pissed at the BTN after the Rutgers game. After missing a large chunk of the first half uie to the overtime game at N'west, I thought I would record their rebroadcast in the middle of the night. They had zero problem reshowing Indiana and Ohio St. beating the Hawks several times this past week, but they totally hosed the rebroadcast of the Rutgers contest, showing other programing for the first 15 minutes and then cutting out huge chunks of the actual game. At one point in the second half it went from 12 minutes left to under 4. That would have been the only complete game broadcast of that game.

hard to believe Fox wasn’t airing an Iowa game in Florida.... weird..... sorry couldn’t resist.... BTN+ 0nly Iowa subscription 10 bucks a month cancel anytime you get the women’s games and wrestling too.... baseball.... track.... volleyball... gymnastics....if it’s televised elsewhere there may be a delay til midnight before you can watch it
