FAC - In college what did that mean to you?

Friday Afternoon Club. 1973. Gabes (may have still been Gabe and Walkers then), followed by the Mill.

Friday After Class - 12:00pm- 5:00pm getting drunk during the day after all other responsibilities were taken care of.

Graduated from UNI in 2008 so I really won't help your agrument. For me it meant Suds at 3 to drink free beer and eat free food, head to Mojos for dollar drinks until 7 or 8, then back home for more beer, then back to the bars later. I miss it every Friday now.

Mid 2000s - Downtown between 2-6, nap, out again at 11. Flippy Cup and Beer Pong, tournaments usually, everybody carried a pitcher.

In fall that usually meant up again at 5am for tailgating.

Adult life is boring.

Panther Lounge >>>> Suds

Although Suds was the best bar on "The Hill" by far (in my opinion). Sharky's and Tony's both sucked (Tony's became some bar with Ice in its name)

We used to go to a place called Oasis back 2004. It wasn't around very long but really chill bar. Kind of like a poor man's Voodoo Lounge.

I graduated in 2006--Friday After Class. Big Beers at Bo James. I sometimes did the tallboys at The Fieldhouse.

Wonder whatever happened to that guy on guitar that they used to have at Bo James during my time. I thought he was pretty good, but then again I was usually pretty drunk.

Friday After Class
Graduated from Iowa State in 1994, but I remember going to FAC as early as 1988.

Friday Afternoon Club. Buena Vista 1989

A group of 10 or 15 of us started a Tuesday Night Club for those that had sorrows to be drowned and to enjoy cheap tacos at a local bar.

To HoosierHawkeye- Is that an indictment on you or Valpo?

...and what year did you graduate? Co-worker and I are debating how long it's been around.
Friday After Class (Freshman in 1964; it was in common usage at ISU then, so presumably it was in common usage everywhere in the universe)

Early 80's - gluing quarters to the sidewalk in front of the Airliner, watching people try to pick them up from the window seats

Friday Afternoon Club...Iowa grad, '84.

Matinee at Maxwell's
Pool at the Copper Dollar
The Airliner

Friday After Class. UI, 2012. If my clique partook, we'd usually start at DC's or Brothers until they filled up. Then we'd go grab a rack and a sack and find a party.

Friday afternoon club. UNI 95

Btw, Sharkys, Suds, and the Panther are all owned by the same person. Mind blown.

Friday After Class. Iowa '09.

I usually had to work Friday afternoons/early evenings, so I rarely got to go out in the afternoons. I made up for it afterwards and on Thursdays.
