Fargo Junior Freestyle Nationals

Kinda like Iowa will have with Lee, Suriano, Renteria, and Mejia... ;)

a big fat YEP!

last few posts are interesting. IMO and said this a year ago. Manville was just feasting on gyus who werent as strong as him. Along comes a bull and Manville suddenly has no Offense. I think that was preview that he will have struggles to put up points in D1. He is starting to remind me a bit of McCauley with all the sizzle but will there be a D1 steak with it.

But honestly, out of the names Pin mentioned. Do whatever you have to do to lock up Lee and mejia. I would put them against any other 125/133 recruit combo out there. You can pick Fix, Suri, JRent, Gomez, Olivas.....Dont care. so yeah im saying right now if we get all 4 of those recruits, you can mark it down Lee and Mejia will win those starting jobs.

Just 2 things are my opinion,

1. I think Suri will struggle offensivly in college but he sure will adapt as a rider and his defense is awaesome. He will be hard to take down and harder to get away from. good luck getting hip sepeeration..but that being said Im tired of what some of the Iowa product has been. i want points on the board...not 2-1 hold ons. But dont get me wrong really like this kid just a matter of I want a David Taylor style over a Chris Perry or to be more fair to Suri..Dake. Tired of the Iowa is counter wrestler stigma.

2 Which leads me to Mejia. Folks im not sure some of you realize this kid will be a rock star and will put up some points non stop. I think he is a little Isiah Martinez. in the sense yeah hes highly rated but all we do is talk about Hall or Lee or somebody else.

I think in a few Lee, marinelli and Mejia will be or deep horse finalists and throw up a lot of bonus in route to the finals and will lead these teams. Imo Kem will be right there too but these 3 are the ticket. These 3 put up 70-75 at nationals between them, then Kem and the gang can finish off the team title runs.

Well said. Other than Hall.....bottom line I want Mejia, Lee and THE BULL! Also love on Twitter Willie asked who should Hall wrestle at WNO and Ramos said Marinelli and Marnelli wrote back and said "I agree."

Would love to see two Hawks facing off at Flo's WNO --- Hall v The Bull

right on I hawked love mejia, love the bull kem-getting better every year. I just like it when a kid says I have always wanted to be a hawkeye.renteria, young,Holloway, etc. gettin fired up.

Not a lot of room at the Inn for him at PSU. Going to be between him and Vincenzo in a few years.

149-Zain
157-Joseph/Manville
165-Nolf

Not a bad problem to have though.
Not to mention Hammond and Law who will be Sophomores next year. Hammond had an 8-0 win over Manville at Jr WTT. There was big big time recruit just north of us a few years ago who moved around a lot too.

Maybe he will realize he's a brawler not a slickster before he actually signs at PSU.

Slim, LE looked great. Coach Azevedo is doing some great things for the wrestlers in San Marino, which was a joke only a couple years ago. Evan Wick looked to be a classy kid in defeat and helped himself recruiting wise. In a folk style match its not close, LE destroys him, likely a major decision, in free Wick's funkiness got him some exposures. LE looked outstanding with a good old-fashioned double leg with short time and then a turn for the win. LE's gas tank was great as well as he initiated most of the action throughout the match. Would have loved to have seen Kemmerer and LE in the finals, but I'm sure those two will tangle a ton of time in the near future. Congrats to you sir!

Thanks. After missing the Ironman he wanted to wrestle Kemmerer. He was really stoked after not competing since the state series and not having wrestled a competitive freestyle match in 2 years. And that Wick kid hit quite the growth spurt. Not often my kid wrestles someone taller than he is.
