Farniok announcing today?

I see your point. Kinda reminds me of the saying legendary NFL Pittsgurgh Steelers Head Coach Chuck Noll used to say when players scored a touchdown and then wanted to spike the football and do some silly dance to further the theatrics of the score:

" Act like you have done it before".

Chuck Noll was a class act.
Tom Osborne used to say that also

I'm think you don't know much about Nebraska. They have a great football program seriously on the rise. They have more academic all Americans than "any" program. And they seem to have the right coaches. If I were in the position to pick to play for Iowa or Nebraska the choice would be easy. Nebraska would be it.

Unfortunately, your quote is just WRONG.
*Great Program on the rise? Nebraska had a losing season for the first time since the Legendary Callahan was on the sidelines.
*Academics? Nebraska lost its accreditation and is considered the worst school in the Big 10. If you are talking about before these kids were born, maybe.
*Coaches? 4 losing seasons in last six. One season 7-6 and one 9-4

Unfortunately, you have given zero facts of why you would chose Nebraska unless you grew up rooting for them.

Truth is hard to swallow for the sand hill people.

Whatever you say. Your football expertise on here is sorely lacking as well.
That's the point! You are not an expert - so when you make stupid statements be prepared to be called out! Also, I'm not a football expert so you don't see me ripping players and coaches. Be A Positive Fan My Friend!

Again... Was a joke and as sarcastic as it could of been since Iowa rarely gets guys who play in any type of all star games.

If you have to explain that it was said in jest/sarcasm, then you most likely failed in your initial attempt... best to let it go at that.

BTW... how many of those 'all-star' heroes from 2014 or prior, achieved twelve wins in the regular season this past fall?

Sometimes we have to be big picture people. Some can't do it. No matter what!

I really believe Nebraska is a program on the rise. Their record for the 2015 season wasn't what they wanted, or expected. But they were looking good the last 3-4 games of the season, and their near misses taught them something about themselves as a team. That experience will carryover to next season. It's not good to be a blind football fan to that fact.

A 9 or 10 win season isn't out of the question form them. Maybe Iowa too?

Then the last game of the year will mean something playing for that ugly azz trophy someone came up with to sell groceries.
Are you being serious? What is your clarification of on the rise? Unless you are refering to them going .500 next year? But to say they are on the rise, what big picture are you talking about? Both DT's leaving early? Subpar recruiting? Subpar coach who not only is not recruiting well but also got progressively worse as D1 football coach? Take off those ugly ass red glasses and you can join the rest of the world outside of Nebby in reality? Who do they have coming back that had any production? Did anybody on the team this year even have production? Cmon man

I hope you are being sarcastic....

Some sarcasm is needed now and then.

But I really feel Nebraska is a program which will show drastic improvement in the win column next season. Things set up will for them. Not like what Iowa had last season though.
I agree that Nebby will have more win, but if we are being honest that is not a very bold statement considering they would only have to go .500 to do so
