Your first poll choice has the wrong year. The hawks beat nebby in 2013 at Nebby and but in 2014 the hawks blew two 17 point leads to lose in OT.So many great memories…
Very Iowa State-like.Have to include last year.
Our pathetic QB throws a pick to put them into last-drive win position on their home field. Yet somehow they manage to hand it back to us, give up a 25 yard run and our backup kicker beats them on a walk-off.
You realize these are both trophy games that are about as important as it gets to the members of Iowa's team, correct?Watching Iowa beat Nebraska is about as exciting as a win over Minnesota.
Meh.
Yes, I am a Hawkeye fan.You realize these are both trophy games that are about as important as it gets to the members of Iowa's team, correct?
I guess I don't understand what you're saying. Are the wins less exciting to you because Iowa beats those teams nearly every year? If dominance in trophy games isn't exciting, I guess I don't know what you're looking for.
You are a Hawkeye fan, correct? Maybe just having a down day?
Ahh, well that makes sense.Yes, I am a Hawkeye fan.
Was just throwing some shade at Nebraska to reiterate how irrelevant they are. 😝
Look no further than HawkeyeFanCFPdelusion for your reason. What kind of loser is he? Pretty sad.Nothing makes me happier than a little Debbie beat down.
You're nothing if not consistent. All of them. A win is a win
He's basically a typical Husker fan. That kind of loser.Look no further than HawkeyeFanCFPdelusion for your reason. What kind of loser is he? Pretty sad.
I'd like to see one again, for a change. It's been several years.Nothing makes me happier than a little Debbie beat down.
I dunno. It was pretty fun dashing their bowl hopes and extending the drought last year. It doesn't get much better than that.I'd like to see one again, for a change. It's been several years.
I'm referring to anytime they lose. Not just when we beat them.I'd like to see one again, for a change. It's been several years.
Oh, I'm definitely on board with that.I'm referring to anytime they lose. Not just when we beat them.
Had to be 2017 for the 56-14 beatdown - it was great . Noah fant doing pylon dives and football spins in the endzone. Being from omaha I'm sure he rubbed all those husker fans remaining in the stands the wrong way. HilariousCan't recall if it was 2016 or 17, but it was at Nebraska, I was with a gal who grew up in Nebraska and who's family is from Nebraska and all big Husker fans, so when we went to Nebraska for Thanksgiving, I took her to her first game. All the Husker fans on the west side of the stadium were leaving via that walking bridge after just a few min into the 4th quarter. It was a glorious sight.
You are right. I want to change my vote to 2023.Have to include last year.

They are on to county fairs, show pigs and funnel cakes for a few months now.I’m pretty sure Nebraska won the offseason again, so laugh while you can, cause they’re back for real this time.
I attended the 2017 game as well. It was my first visit to their stadium. I was concerned at halftime when the score was 14-14. The remaining 42 points scored in the game were by the Hawkeyes and great was the departure of the loyal Nebby fans. Can't recall if it was 2016 or 17, but it was at Nebraska, I was with a gal who grew up in Nebraska and who's family is from Nebraska and all big Husker fans, so when we went to Nebraska for Thanksgiving, I took her to her first game. Yeah it was rather enjoyable. The exodus is what amazed me. Idk, I grew up in a small town and back then everyone showed up for games, if they had kids or not, the whole town showed up. If you won or lost, everyone stayed until the end and usually applauded no matter what the score was. Kind of Mayberry I guess. I went with my brother one time to Kinnick (he got us some nice seats in the South end zone from someone he knows) because I thought we had turned the corner that year and we would beat Wisconsin. This is back when Wisconsin was rolling pretty good, maybe a few years after the the Nebraska trip. SO maybe 2019?? The Hawks just could not get it done, but never not once did my brother or I think about leaving before the game was over. So yeah that mass exodus in Nebraska was a sight to see, from "real fans". But we thumped them pretty goof too. LolI attended the 2017 game as well. It was my first visit to their stadium. I was concerned at halftime when the score was 14-14.
