By far the best episode of the series. I would argue one of the top ten episodes of the "The Walking Dead Universe."

I would give the series a B for the season, as this episode lifted it up.

I am a fan of the show. Is it as good as TWD? No....

I am fine with the slow pacing start. The writers knew that the show had 2 years guaranteed so they could afford a slower pace.

As for the characters:

Travis: I actually liked him. It is easy to criticize his "pacifist" nature but we knew more than these characters I did. His character really changed on the season finale. I also love the actor Cliff Curtis.

Madison: She will be a kick ass character. Could potentially be the best female character in the universe not named Carol or Michonne. Love the acturess Kim Dickens... Sexy MILF as well.

Nick: They are dropping his annoying drug addict part, which is about time. But his addiction will help him survive in this world.

Daniel: He is the old man in the show, but he is no Hershal or Dale. He is kick ass. I am guessing he will be the leader of the group early, but then will die when Travis is ready to be the alpha.

Mercedes: I like the actress...HOT... Has potential? She has not been much more than Daniel's hot daughter so far.

Christopher and Alicia: So far are just being typical teens. I will be interested to see how these two characters evolve, especially Chris after the death of his mom.

Strand: Has potential to be a breakout character. Do not know much about him yet.

Elizabeth: Will not miss her

I give the season a B+.............but some of this is just getting used to new characters as the are learning what is happening to the world around them.

Loving the show so far. Different setting for sure, but the show has been very detailed in how it's all falling apart.

I can't get into it. The main characters are too comfortable around the dead for something that just happened, the dead aren't nearly as much of a threat as they should be to them, and there's no way they would have given up on Liz already. She may think she knows it's inevitable, but they would still have some hope. If nothing else, they would've left her behind (at her insistence) or waited until she died to shoot her.

I watched the first couple of episodes, thought I had recorded the rest, but there's a problem of some kind. Based on what I've seen, I don't know if I'm going to bother to watch them or not.

Totally agree with this. She got bit and within a 5 minute span they talk and decide to just blast her in the head. No way. I know this show is about freaking zombies but it's just not as believable as TWD. It doesn't seem like any of the characters have had a total "wtf is going on" freak out moment. That said, I will continue to watch.

You have to remember that Liz saw a lot of crap when she was at the hospital. She saw people turn. She saw them suffer. I do not blame her at all.
