has to really suck, especially for the seniors, to have the season end this way.

plus, I can already see it now that Fran not getting this years team to an NCAA Bid will be held against him

My thoughts are also with the hourly-wagers and tip-wagers who likely live paycheck to paycheck and also likely don’t have great insurance—if they have it at all. We have constructed a very fragile socioeconomic system in this country—like one big roll of the dice.

Yeah, I feel bad for everyone involved. But it's a game. Heck, Iowa has a player on their bench that shouldn't be anywhere near a crowded arena.

We can all agree that Fran did a good job this year, right? LOL, I probably know the answer.

Yeah, it sucks but there’s kinda of big public health issue at dawn here.. gotta do what you gotta do to keep people and students and students athletes as safe as possible..

Bottom line is flattening the curve; i.e., reduce the spread of impact. Is it the right thing to do? Perhaps we'll never fully know the answer to that question, but at least it's proactive.

As noted above, the ones most impacted are the hourly workers (e.g., concessions, janitors, etc.). I'm hoping conferences will put in place some sort of compensation package for those losing out on their wages.

I knew we wouldn’t lose another game this season. Sucks that it’s this way. We were gonna win the BIG and NCAA tourneys, no doubt in my mind .

There are a lot of losers in this, and really no winners. It really does stink though for Iowa in particular.

First Iowa male baller to be named Big Ten Player of the year in more than HALF A F---KING CENTURY, and he won't get to play a minute of post-season ball.

Wrestling team is in the same boat. As dominant of an Iowa team as we've seen in a long time. Not necessarily a shoe-in to win the national title, but certainly a HEAVY favorite to finally get back to the top of the team podium after 10 long years. And then........

19 might now be Ol' Doodle's least favorite number.

and a visual to show the "flattening the curve" and why so important.
