And this is what I don't understand. Arguably the two best players in the NBA are white, although Edwards is making a strong push if he can dominate this coming series, and you don't hear shit on that really. But CC comes into a sport 95% of people dont give two shits about and wouldn't watch anyways broke them. It's ****ing wild.

I just think people eventually had no choice but to accept jokic as being the best. Same probably goes for doncic but jokic kind of set the table for him. Jokic had been hammered for years up to and including last year when embiid won mvp. For years jokic was called fat, slow, unathletic, etc… after his masterful performance in the playoffs last year, they really have no choice but to accept it.

They may try to ease her in early on as far as giving her breaks but it was clear from one preseason game that the team ran on a different level when she was on the court. She is respectful of being the rookie because there were quite a few shots she otherwise would have taken... but it's only a matter of time ( 2 games?) before everything runs through her and she's the clear leader of the team while logging heavy heavy minutes. She'll be a first team all pro year one.. and push for MVP votes if Indiana makes the plaoyffs.
