Funny — I’d bet not one Iowa fan thought what Reese did sucked ass because of her race. WTH?! There were plenty of players out there for both teams of various ethnicities who were just playing their butts off, and I admire them all. What we saw was some horrendous sportsmanship by a basketball player. Mulkey was pretty obnoxious, herself — and I’m sure none of us thinks her antics have anything to do with her ethnic background. They both acted like punks, period. Race couldn’t be less relevant.

don’t need to. unlike you I saw all these instances and unlike you know the difference between a gesture at nobody and continual taunting when the game is in progress. taunting is an automatic technical. a lot more so than anything Clark did.
I'm sure Caitlin did her fair share of talking during the game but she just won a national championship and all she can think about is taunting a player from another team. I think this says a lot more about Reese and her value as a teammate than it does about anything else.
If you push the boundaries of sh*t talking, you can't get mad when the next person goes a little further.
Thank you Keith. Spread the word. They won, and good for them. They deserved to the win the game. BUT Reese should be called to the carpet for this type of poor sportsmanship, and baiting. In a mens game a fight would probably have been the last 30 seconds of this game, and we've seen it before. Is that the ending the NCAA wants for their championship game?

This game was to take Women’s basketball to even greater heights. The refs and Angel set it back a bit which is sad. Angel take your WNBA salary and invest wisely. You cost yourself $$$$- do you want her endorsing your company or products??
The sad truth is Angel was just trying to ride Caitlin’s star by using the same gesture. But the context and execution were pathetic. She’ll never be Caitlin no matter how she tries. Just trash.
