Flo hearts Suriano

March is an entirely different progress level than now. No way to know about Suriano yet.

It'll be very interesting when Suriano goes underneath. That is the biggest problem True Freshmen run into IMO and if he is in close, defensive matches as some are suggesting that escape point and not giving up riding time could play huge factors

I believe this is where Lee separates himself from Suriano, mat wrestling. He is much more dominant on top, and does not get ridden. Suriano has been ridden hard before, including by Lee himself. He can also ride well, but he seems to be the type to ride more for riding time than scoring back points in bunches + pinning like Lee. Defensively I think they are equal, both have incredible defense. But Offensively Lee has the edge over Suriano. Suriano is going to be good no doubt, he has all of the tools necessary to compete at a very high level, I just think Lee is going to be better at the next level.

Not everyone can nail their predictions like you - who else saw JoJo beating Nolf at Nationals last year???
CT, it was a homer post, but thank for living for every post I throw out there. Suriano top 7/8 at Nationals is giving the poor kid some respect, but being in the finals even with some clearing out of some wrestlers at that weight is a whole lot of homer respect (sort of like my JoJo prediction and I'm not working at Flo). Don't give me CP is a Virginia homer because PSU will be 1a after all Virginia schools. Since Suriano will be in the finals, JoJo and 8 other OSU wrestlers will be NC this year. Just staying with this theme in this thread. You know if that is true, it will mean Gillman will be watching Saturday night (Picinnini vs Suriano). Pic beating Suriano by 4 at Reno.

This analysis is a bit too clever. It will be 2 years before they are both out of high school and have had a year of college training. And Suriano may be 133 by then. Two years, we might have more data to go on by then. Maybe.

Wait…. I thought exotic bird training was the focus of the MSU wrestling program.

Can Suriano look as busy as Magaludis? That's the key IMO. Nico had a unique talent - appearing very active while in full defensive mode.

I'm not going to assume that Suriano can do the same. If true, that could result in stalling warnings/calls and force him to take some bad shots.

He can just look over at the next matt for a lesson. Might work.

Other question is how well can megaludis teach Suriano to do the splits. He masters that than he negates half of gilmans shots
