Max Lyon of Iowa will take on John Frisco of Aberdeen, SD in the finals at 182 in Cedar Rapids

Don't know much about Lyon, but have had the pleasure of watching Frisco the last two years. 2 time SD state champ. Very tough kid. Wrestling at Minny next year.

West got beat like 8-1 and dropped out after. Young got beat 6-3. I know it was stated that Wilke was not wanting to cut his last year being why he is at 195, I am curious to see what he does at 184, been taking some losses to lower ranked out of state guys in post season action.

Max will be a tough out.

Runner up as a soph,to Isaiah Patton
4th as Freshman losing to Wolinski (finalist) and Brady Letney

He will be something special the next two years and wants to be a Hawkeye.

He is my Uncle's nephew (my mom's sisters husbands nephew)

Don't feel to bad that Young lost to Connor Flynn. He just took out Manville as well!! Somewhere Sammy Henson is smiling.

The Stokke kid Wilke beat was a 44-0 state champ from Wisconsin. He also recently picked up an offer from Iowa in football. This article ran on him here just the other day.

Looks like the guy Chadd he lost 6-5 to was a Wisky champ as well in another division. He is walking on at UW for wrestling. Big frame, might me a future 285. He gave Keegan Moore a good match (7-5) in the final.
