MBB makes a profit is because it receives $7.3 million from the Big Ten’s media rights contract/NCAA units. Its profit was $2.4 million.
As we’ve previously reported, leagues and the NCAA have practically given away WBB despite its high ratings. That will change this year with unit distribution.

Not surprising at all. Fran is complacent and isn't hungry. Hopefully the new hire will bring some much-needed energy to our program.
