why doesn't Notre Dame join a Conference?
is it because they would get exposed as the Fraud Program that they are?
they play 12 meaningless games every year.... if they only lose twice... they get crowned.

CB Devin Butler was also arrested last night in a seperate occasion for police battery and resisting arrest.

I don't have any love for Notre Dame, but your delusional if you think that all 12 games are meaningless when they play all P-5 conference schools or top independents.
Beating USC, Clemson, FSU, Stanford ... Etc, etc.
in 2015, Notre Dame played 3 non Power 5 teams.... Iowa played only 2...
in 2016, Notre Dame will play 3 non Power 5 teams... Iowa plays only 2.
the difference is....
in 2015, Iowa played 8 Conference games.... Notre Dame played 0 Conference games.
in 2016, Iowa plays 9 Conference games... Notre Dame plays 0 Conference games.
Conference games have meaning.... non conference games are nearly meaningless.
and I say nearly meaningless because of the extreme circumstance where you might have 3 or more teams tied for the Division or Conference lead... and the Tie Breakers involve non Conference records....
in the case of Notre Dame... none of this applies... they don't play in a Conference...
therefore all 12 games are absolutely 100% meaningless.
they might have a little meaning for the team they play... in case that team ends in a 3 way tie for the Division or Conference lead...
but... there is very little to be gained by beating Notre Dame... for every team they play... this is a non Conference game...
real games are played in Conference.
teams compete to win Conference Championships
Notre Dame competes for public perception.
Can't imagine these guys will be in school, let alone on the football team, come Tuesday. Drugs and guns are grounds for automatic expulsion from ND. Not sure that being off campus will help their cause in any way. Not sure in the case of a student-athlete but a student can apply for readmission after 1 calendar year. My guess is Redfield is done as he has already been suspended 2x. I also suspect the seat under Kelly just got a little warmer.
They play a legit schedule, that is not debatable and it's always on national tv on big stage, they get teams best every week. Objectively speaking BC I hate them

So Iowa plays 7 teams with a losing record plus a Div 2 school and you think it's tougher than Notre Dame's. You are joking right? Obvious troll or an idiot.
There's no division 2 school on Iowa's schedule. But there is an FCS school on there that blew Iowa State out of their own home stadium......and that team's fans are saying the 2016 team could be even better than that team.
Not to mention your team is part of that group with a losing record. Thank you for that, btw. Nice to see you guys doing your part to weigh everyone else around you down.

Notre Dame does schedule a significant amount of traditional powers, it's not Notre Dame's fault if those traditional powers are not great every year. There are some things that touchdown Jesus cannot control. Lol
You do remember Kelly played Micheal Floyd who got arrested for drunk driving?
Knowing Kelly it will depend on how much he needs these players as far as discipline.
As far as ND after he basically killed a kid with one of his decisions Kelly is still there.
Re:schedule. Over rated. Always manage to play the weak ACC teams and maybe 1-2 tough ones. Last year they were 0-1 vs the Big 10. They were 1-1 against the 2 Pac 10 teams they played.

Nothing like being in the heat of a conference race & then boom, ND is on the schedule. Hard to care about the ND game. So yes, it does make ND's schedule easier than it appears when ND's always up & the opponents have a huge game next week that actually means something.
Should Norte dame join a conference, yes. Is Norte dame schedule legit, yes. Is iowas schedule tougher, as an Iowa fan I have to say no. Note dame plays- MSU, USC, Texas, Stanford, Miami, va tech....who are all traditional power houses. Especially 5 years ago when these were scheduled. Nevada, duke, nc state, and navy are no slouches either. Are you entitled to your opinion and hating Notre dame and think it's stupid they don't join a conference, yes. Does it make you look stupid when you say their schedule is easier than iowas BC they aren't as important as conference games, YES! Every game is important in CFB, especially when it is nationally televised and especially when you aspire a New Years bowl or better. In your logic who cares if Iowa goes 0-3 in non conference
you want to win every game, for sure... but the reality is... non conference games are not as important.
the goal is to win the Conference Championship.
if your goal is any different than that.. you don't have your priorities straight.
Like Neb & ISU. They would both gladly go 1-11 if that 1 win was against Iowa.
I get that, but can you truly and objectively say ND has an easy schedule? Can you objectively say iowas schedule is tougher?
I am of the opinion that Wisconsin is a Big Time Power House Football Program...
their Big Ten Titles in recent years bare that out...
I also have a very high opinion of Northwestern... after all, they were a 10 win team last season...
and a little lower than those 2 teams, I regard Michigan highly as well...
beating those 3 teams is more difficult in Conference Play... then it is beating Michigan State(whom we will probably have to play again) and Stanford in non Conference games that won't be as important for those teams.
you could make the case that it is beneficial for those teams to put together a vanilla game plan that doesn't reveal too much about themselves when they play Notre Dame.
if they expend everything they can trying to win a non Conference game, they might come up empty trying to win their respected Conference.
keep in mind... not only does Iowa play 3 Ten Win teams from a season ago.... but if all goes well... they will have to play a 4th in the Big Ten Conference Championship game...
and no game on Notre Dame's schedule is even remotely comparable to a Big Ten Championship game...

Maybe they shouldn't have been speeding in their car. Maybe they shouldn't have had weed in their car. Something that is still illegal in Indiana and a substance players know they get drug tested for and is banned by NCAA. Further more they have the right to possess a fire arm but you are required to have a license for it which they didn't. Lastly the 6th player resisted arrest and hit a cop. they knew they were in the wrong for all of these actions and need to suffer some consequences for their poor decision and actions and sounds like one has been dismissed already.
So you are cool going 10-4 so long as three losses are out of conference with the 4th coming in a bowl game? Got it. I have to ask. Did you apply to ND and get rejected?
How does the ACC determine which 5 ACC teams the dummers get to play every year? If the dummers get to 11-1 there will be enough support for them to be in the "Group of 4"
