The AP and other outlets reporting background info on shooter as "Crooks’ political leanings were not immediately clear. Records show Crooks was registered as a Republican voter in Pennsylvania, but federal campaign finance reports also show he gave $15 to a progressive political action committee on Jan. 20, 2021, the day President Joe Biden was sworn in to office."

His school said he was good in math and science, as you can see he is a registered REPUB but maybe some progressive leanings.

As some on here have suggested the isnt some big time Dem donor but donated only $15 bucks that was mentioned to a progressive PAC.

I would quess he saw Trump again and Project 2025 as a HUGE attack on progressive progress. The kid is no doubt somewhat crazy or has wacko thoughts that his act would help.
