Registered Republican in 2008 to vote for Ron Paul.
Registered Democrat in 2020 to vote for Tulsi Gabbard.
FL is a closed primary state, like PA.
The registration is just for the rules of the game in this state.

Edited to add: Democratic Party of Florida decided to only allow Biden on the primary ballot for 2024, so by state law no election was held, to save democracy.

1) We know now that the progressive cause donations were an older gentleman by the same name.

2) The shooter was a registered Republican and described as very “Conservative” by classmates who knew him.
