If you think that loses him credibility in his area of experience and expertise…. You should work on critical thinking skills.Loses a little credibility when he can't spell her name right and uses emojis like a 13 year old
This crew was intimidated by Mulkey and is a prime example of what a "blue blood" coach can get away with (see Izzo) and a couple who can't (See Bluder and Fran).….and allow the opposing coach to spend most of the game on the court without so much as a warning (despite Bluder’s complaints to the refs), AND allow the opposing coach to make physical contact with a ref with no T?!
And irony of ironies, it was the IOWA bench that got the only bench warning of the game.
It's absurd how the officials and defenders of the CC technical cite to specific rules to justify the call, but then overlook that the coaches box, showing up a ref, and contacting a ref were not called on Mulkey. If you're calling it "by the book," you better be consistent.All. Game. Long.

I agree on the national media....they are just ratings hounds and go with whatever take they think will get their ratings up..I usually agree with Dan Patrick. But man, his take was freezing cold. Caitlin lost her composure, had a quiet uninteresting thirty, and couldn't win one on five( we know it was it was 5 against 8). The officials effectively took Caitlin out of the game by caving to Mulkey's whining. Watch out, Caitlin is pushing off. 2 fouls in 3 minutes. Yeah, she pushed off because LSU was hand checking and pushing her all over. WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO? God, I hate the "national' media. Yeah LSU won. No Dan Patrick, they won because a bench player got really hot but that was after the damage of shackling the best women's player in the country with ridiculous foul calls. He never gets to call out any poor officiating ever again. Seriously **** the national media
Bingo. And CC had 14 in the first quarter, that wasn't quiet at all.I agree on the national media....they are just ratings hounds and go with whatever take they think will get their ratings up..
The point you hit on that is most interesting.....Caitlin gets call for pushing/slapping their hand OFF Of HER......hand checking is illegal right? The hand checking CAME FIRST...there is no Caitlin pushing a hand away if there is no hand checking....and if using your hands like that is okay, then why is Caitlin using her hands not okay?....doesn't make sense to me, but I am no expert on the women's rules.
A quiet 30....Jebus, talk about a spin to try and manipulate others into your way of thinking.
Who hates Iowa? Gophers hate Iowa.Guys, even gopher fans agreed the refs sucked. When do gopher fans root for us?
Very well done by Bluder there.
I put the idiot on ignore 2 years ago (the only one I have ever felt the need to) because his posts are over the top stupid. You’re a shit show in all of your posts, suck a dick.

8 on 5 thanks to these jackhole officials that wanted to see a team full of white girls lose and made sure it happenedThis game was stolen from us by the officials.
Nah. Looked to me like they were doing exactly what they were paid to do. Over their heads in the sense that they were a little to obvious about it but they got the results. The referees were in over their head not the HAWKS
Not sure if they were paid or not. The two things that make me question whether they or someone higher up had an agenda were the offensive fouls and technical on CC and then Bluder’s post game comments saying there wasn’t a conversation to be had after watching Mulkey scream their ears off the entire game. If they would have called Monica for the elbows after letting it go on the other end that would have removed any doubt from my mind that the fix was in. I honestly thought they were going to since they reviewed it for so long and usually that means they’re going to over turn things. Maybe they realized that would have been way too obvious though too.Nah. Looked to me like they were doing exactly what they were paid to do. had there not been the elbow from LSU earlier that was reviewed... Monica most definitely would have been called for hers. Not sure if they were paid or not. Well, I agree and disagree. In a normal game, the technical was legit and both offensive fouls on Clark were legit. IN A NORMAL GAME. Picky, but legit. The fix was in when they called that ridiculous technical foul for tossing a ball out of bounds. Completely neutered her ability to drive with the ball the rest of the game. I thought reffing was bad in mens. I don't watch alot of womens, but I can't beleive what they allow physically on Clark. The refs took out 3 of our best players.
I agree. Maybe the one good thing to happen in this game is that it exposes how bad the officiating in women’s basketball is. I get frustrated with the men’s but if I watch a women’s game first and then go watch a men’s one I don’t get as irritated. Obviously the NCG was an extreme example but at least it’s being talked about now.had there not been the elbow from LSU earlier that was reviewed... Monica most definitely would have been called for hers.
there is a problem ... we all know it.. but can it be fixed ?

Let’s not forget that LSU also had two starters sitting on the bench with two fouls in the first quarter, Poole and Reese. That’s why Carson was in the game and able to torch us. Their bench > our bench. That and rebounding were the two biggest limitations of this years team.
