Another kid found dead on the streets of Fort Dodge....seems they have had a rash of these in the past few months.

There's plenty of jobs, just not the jobs young wanna be thugs want to work. Drug crime driven gang life ends up being the more appealing choice for far too many, and what's going on in ft dodge is the inevitable result.

Just wondering…. They have become “murder city, USA” the past few months…3-4 murders and a couple of tge bodies have been found on the street..unusual to say the least…. And the city/LEO responses have been strange as well…Something's going on… and it seems it’s more complicated than drugs…

They have had quite a run this past month, asswipe…. For a town of 20-25k, 2-4 gun downs on public streets in the last 4 weeks or so is pretty impressive. And gun downs of teenagers, too. One might even say it is “Chicago-southwest-ish”…. And then No One “officially” wants to comment on it.
Don't make too much of it Joel but I can see this is concerning compared to Pella.

Ft Dodge always has a “rough” rep but damn, cold-blooded shoot’em dead in the street murder like what Dodge has experienced this past month or so should be concerning…and then no explanations by LEO is interesting, too. At least the monthly murders here in DSM can explained as drug or alcohol related…. And since they have cracked down on Coyrt Ave a bit recently, we have gone a couple of weeks without a murder. Ft. Dodge has enough problems the past few years… this stufff isn’t helping then.
Lots of drugs and gang activity flow through Dodge. New players try to come in and bad things happen.
Let’s not forget the couple that killed the baby an threw it in trash.
Fort Dodge was bad even in the 70's. The police didn't go down to "the flats" unless they absolutely had to.
I normally don't share the exploits of the Dirty Dodge because I didn't think you old foggys on HROT would care, even when it involves drugs, gangs, and/or murder.
I will make the appropriate adjustments going forward..............
