Fox and Goodson Iowa bound.

Man I’d love us a little Georgia pipeline eh?
In 2014 Iowa offered an under the radar defensive end from Georgia. He didn't end up coming to Iowa, instead choosing NC State. His name is Bradley Chubb. I'm hoping we get some of that magic this time around with Fox.
Interestingly, Chubb's wiki page doesn't list Iowa as a school that offered, but does mention Duke, Wake Forest & East Carolina. Kind of weird considering none of those schools have much of a football tradition.
Hope the OP's assertion comes true.
Just watched video of the Goodson highlights, speed, agility and vision. Looks like the real deal...
I wasn’t doubting Iowa offered Chubb, just that it’s weird they aren’t mentioned in his Wikipedia page. Maybe the author thought they were basketball scholarship offers?
Bring em both in and make them NFL material! Get that Georgia Southern pipeline built and flowing.
Love it that we are finally laying pipe in GA. Something my brother Matt had ZERO success with.

I was going through Fox's Hudl page ... man does that young man not give up on a play. In film in each game that is put up ... there are hustle-plays in pretty much each and every game. That tells you a lot about the heart of a competitor .... it tells you about his speed, his tenaciousness, his will as a competitor, and the sort of team-guy he likely is.
In the film, he's not dominating plays necessarily ... but he has a high motor, he's pretty explosive, he plays with pretty good outside leverage for a young guy. I came away pretty impressed. I really hope that we land the young man. The guy has a nose for the ball ... and if the play goes away from him ... he pursues! It's awesome how he doesn't give up on plays!
So to reiterate my prior post ... I really hope we land Fox! I also hope we land Goodson too!

Goodson has been long thought an Iowa lean ever since moving on from Brock and Fox said he almost committed on the spot, These 2 would make 16 in the class and I think we take 2-3 more. Bell at WR obviously is #1 priority and MLB #2. I think the 19th would only be if we really really liked a kid. I believe 18 would put us at 92 and with some attrition that is bound to happen (injury, academics, transfers)
Great news, BUT WHY haven't we offered Goodson's 2020 teammate 4-Star WR Josh Downs???
I wonder if there’s any relationship between him and Nick Chubb a great RB at GA or recently graduated.. I see both from Georgia I believe?

I did the same and came away with the exact same thoughts about his motor. Even though he's not always dominating plays, he's very disruptive on almost every play. The kid is also extremely athletic for his size.
Fox is an Iowa D lineman. From watching his videos, it's easy to see why the coaches want him. He fits the mold. Not just any mold, but the mold of a great Iowa lineman that gets drafted and plays in the NFL.
you're right about his hustle and intensity. He could be a beast once Doyle-ized.
Don’t get me wrong i like TGood and man he looks good with the ball in tote.. But i just watched that Fox video again & call it ex line pride But it’s something about a DE/DL that can stay low, be physical & stand his ground then go make a play that can’t be beat! Man I hope they pick IOWA!
