The defense is a major disappointment this year. Now what Phil?
Because he's getting paid to throw the game. I watched his play all night. Very passive all night and giving space when he never should have.
Kirk sucks. We know he sucks but there is nothing that can be done about it. The whole thing is a flaming dumpster fire.Other than the opening 10 game minutes - and Stratton's TD drive - everything about this game was utter garbage.

Got out played in all 3 phases. Out coached from head coach to both of our coordinators. What a disappointment of a season. Shades of 97’ pissed it down our leg with a veteran team and wasted an all American caliber season by our rb. Hopefully head coach is gone by following season again.

Yeah with all our seniors back. Mental lapses, poor tackling, bad angles, no penetration, just like against MSU. I just don't get it.
Run game was shut down....Lester will need to figure that out. Defense got shredded and if not for some good plays by defense/bad plays by UCLA QB they would have put up a couple more TDs. This game was not as close.
Did Sullivan have a concussion and Doctors made the call? Stratton actually played okay but , Kirk Ferenz is the guy that kept Beathard taking snaps with 1-leg vs Florida St in Bowl Game, so not like KF gets worried about QB's taking a beating.
Stratton looked better than McNamara. McNamara would have thrown some INTs and fumled the ball with no run game.

6-6 just became a very real possibility - not knowing Sullivan's status going forward.

Glad I didn't watch this one. I knew a west coast night game was going to be a disaster for Kirk.
The wasted season's were the previous 2 years when we had a lot of NFL talent on the defense and our offense was garbage. Phil lost a lot on defense---its a rebuild for this year and next. Talent not there on defense at Safety/CBs.
This was always going to be a middle of the pack year with Cade running offense and defense down.
So, just asking, do some of you guys pay ANY attention to what goes on? Resar was moved to WR weeks ago and was injured and he's out for the year. This has been talked about the last two weeks.
