Everyone on HORT knows what you are all about your act there is tired. As far as Fran he had every right to be pissed. The refs should have realized they made a mistake and let it go.
I believe the announcers seemed to agree it was an ok call.

Again, we’re missing 2 starters and you guys are blaming Fran and saying this is all we’ve got?
You do realize we were missing an all conference player and our starting pt guard? But carry on brother.
I was hoping someone posted this. Lol. I was entertained by it.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And the announcers also said it wasn't just that call it was an accumulation of things which is why I said he had every right to be pissed. You think we get the calls Wisconsin got tonight when we go to Madison?I believe the announcers seemed to agree it was an ok call.
your welcome to stop watching, i am tired of one sided BS refing in the Big ten makes the league look like shit in post season

Keegan? With a healthy Murray that’s not true at all. We’re a 6-7 seed with him.
No, Hell No! Nobody does. Little Larry is a pain in the Hawkeyes ass.And the announcers also said it wasn't just that call it was an accumulation of things which is why I said he had every right to be pissed. You think we get the calls Wisconsin got tonight when we go to Madison?
People say bad calls as an all-encompassing term for anything poor the refs do (or don't do/call)..................I think almost every game is called fairly, that’s not saying good, and that our fan base, like most see the game through Hawk colored glasses.
Wisconsin shot very few foul shots until the last few minutes of regulation. It was not a one sided game

Shooting FTs, or not shooting FTs, is just one aspect of it.
It's like when MSU fans whine about foul discrepancy saying, "oh yeah well look at the foul totals, we had 13 and you had 12"...........................and to that we explain, and you should've had about 26 more.
And even better if he physically assaults a ref because that would get him canned, but also he got a shot in on a ref which is something every fan in the history of sport has at least imagined doing.I wish the assistants would just let him go. The outcome would likely result in either an ejection and/or a suspension. Either would be good.
Because we don't lack morality.I get that. What I don’t get it why we don’t adjust and play just as physical. Finesse does not win many tournament games.

I honestly wonder why you (and several other posters) even watch any Iowa games (in any sport). I wonder why you put yourself through the pain of watching sports of any kind. I am extremely emotional during any Iowa game but can remain at least a little rational and open minded in the end. Your highs are so high (like after the ISU win) and your lows are so low (tonight). It must be frustrating to know you you’re going defcon 15 regardless of the result. For getting a technical late in the game that cost Iowa 2 points? Yes.
Pissconsin is not a good basketball team. Yes, Iowa probably wins if Kris is healthy, but the point still stands.
Honestly, I don’t have high expectations for this Iowa team, so losing a conference game in December isn’t that big of a deal. Iowa will likely squeak into the tournament and be done after the first or second game.
It’s going to be BAU. And I think that’s what it’s always going to be under Fran. Sure, it could be worse, but I’ve accepted this is what Iowa basketball is. Everyone is petrified of change, including Barta, so it is what it is.
So a 1st team all conference guy averaging 19 and 8 would not have made a difference? Plus our starting pt guard? Again, I’m not a huge Fran supporter as most know but it’s disingenuous to act like Kris doesn’t make a difference in tonight’s game.Keegan?
Good post.We played physical as hell i thought. Rebraca got punked by these dudes last year. Crawl could barely move in the post vs him. Connor and Pat were tough all night. Perkins battled too. We were playing walkons and wisconsin is a machine. Valiant effort
So what? You do realize we were missing an all conference player and our starting pt guard? But carry on brother.

The f#ck are you talking about?I honestly wonder why you (and several other posters) even watch any Iowa games (in any sport). So missing possibly the player of the year in the conference doesn’t make a difference? Are you special needs? So what?
Possibly. Do you think we’re a better team if the possible player of the year in the conference plays?Just a thought, do you think the McCaffery’s have the types of game they had if Kris was playing? Sometimes those things balance out.
Possibly. Do you think we’re a better team if the possible player of the year in the conference plays?
He's not even the best player on our team.So missing possibly the player of the year in the conference doesn’t make a difference? Are you special needs?
So our 1st round NBA guy is not our best player? I will be anxiously awaiting your response. He's not even the best player on our team.

Yes.Is he projected a first round pick? Seriously, have not really followed that.
Depends on who you read. Anywhere from 28 to 42. He has no right hand and isn't nearly as aggressive as his brother. Is he projected a first round pick? Seriously, have not really followed that.
Late 1st early 2nd. Wouldn’t do us any good to have him out there. I’d rather have Sandfort and Carter Kingsbury.Depends on who you read. Anywhere from 28 to 42. He has no right hand and isn't nearly as aggressive as his brother.
Wow what a disgusting response. I'd ask if you were a douche but I clearly don't need to. I will answer your question although I shouldn't but yes it obviously makes a difference but using it as any kind of excuse is a loser's mentality. So missing possibly the player of the year in the conference doesn’t make a difference? I'm talking about the next time we play Wisconsin. It'll be a different game, but the result will still be the same.So a 1st team all conference guy averaging 19 and 8 would not have made a difference? Plus our starting pt guard? Again, I’m not a huge Fran supporter as most know but it’s disingenuous to act like Kris doesn’t make a difference in tonight’s game.
It didn't make a bit of difference last year in the Kohl Center with having Keegan and Kris, so why would it make a difference this year with only Kris?So missing possibly the player of the year in the conference doesn’t make a difference? Are you special needs?
How many skilled 6-11, 7-0 ft players are playing in college? That’s an absurd statement. If a guy is that tall and skilled he’s playing in the NBA after 1 year. Edey was a huge project out of Canada that I’ll give Purdue credit because that’s what they do. And he is a load. But there’s nobody else like him in the league. It didn't make a bit of difference last year in the Kohl Center with having Keegan and Kris, so why would it make a difference this year with only Kris?
And no there is no way Kris is going to be named player of the year in the Big Ten. If you haven't heard, Purdue is undefeated with a mountain of a man that not only averages over 20 points a game but over 12 rebounds a game and make their whole team better.
That's a concept Fran wasn't able to duplicate after the loss of Garza and bringing Rebraca to Iowa from the portal was OK if Iowa was in need of a 6-8/9 forward, but he is not a center by any means. You can't fault his fight and grit but if Iowa wanted to play with the big boys, in college basketball, you have to have a skilled 6-11 or 7 footer of which Iowa apparently has none. Just a swing and a miss by Fran and his staff.
Oh screw you douche. So what was your response? We’re missing a 1st round NBA draft pick and our starting pt guard who played 36 minutes the other night? Those minutes were replaced by Sandfort 0-7, Dix scoreless and Carter Kingsbury who hadn’t played a meaningful minute all season. If you can’t understand what that means I can’t help you brother. It’s not an excuse it’s a fact.Wow what a disgusting response. I'd ask if you were a douche but I clearly don't need to. I will answer your question although I shouldn't but yes it obviously makes a difference but using it as any kind of excuse is a loser's mentality.
