I dont think op was saying it doesn't impact our lives. (That's a different argument) I think he was saying there's nothing you as an individual can do about it. You personally have no control so there is no reason to get worked up about it.

I have checked out and unplugged from the American news media. Honestly the only source of news Im reading is BBC. I hold the MSM partially to blame for putting Trump back into the White House.

I’m done with the exhaustive 24x7 coverage of all the crazy, awful stuff Trump does. America asked for this, we can deal with the consequences. I for one am not going to waste any more effort, time or money trying to mitigate it. I feel awful for my kids, but that’s life.
