Offensively a very clean game from us. My sense is if the other team plays a soft defense, we will carve them up. We still need to prove we can cohesively pull it together against a physical defense: Purdue, MSU, Wisconsin.

Still, there are a lot of good passers out there. Especially pleased with Clemons not being as loose with the ball.

Look at Fran's recruiting. Even the bigs he brings in are very good passers. Cook, Pemsl, and Kriener are all very good passing big men as well.

Thought Wagner was very good in the middle of kicking to shooters or cutters. He had 3 assists I think yesterday.

Teams that pass well also normally play very unselfish...which goes a long way when playing talented teams.

I found it's a good sign when an opposing coach of a low-ranked team goes out of their way to praise Iowa after we've beat them. We are expected to beat them so there's really not a lot alterior motives going on. I think going forward our passing is going to get good shots vs good Ds. That's the upside of having 2 veteran starting PGs. Then we have to make them.
