Sooo I just read that Central Florida’s starting safety Tre Neal, who was also 2nd on the team in tackles, will grad transfer to Nubraska and be eligible immediately to play this season.

Snake oil at it’s finest! First they get a commit (probably bought and paid for) that came from a lifelong Hawkeye family, and now they managed to steal UCF’s starting safety and top returning tackler?! Are you kidding me? Tell me there isn’t some shady business going on over there in Lincoln. Why would he leave UCF just a couple weeks before the start of the season.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure the nub’s defensive backfield was it’s poorest position group so this kid most likely will be a starter right away since he was a damn good player in 2017.

Nebraska needs to be investigated.

LOL. Some players just want to play at a program where football means more. Play at a university where you look up and see titles and tradition. I don't care how irrelevant Nebraska has been, the N means more to football fans than the yellow bird will ever. Theres a reason why there are Husker watch parties in every state; people have to stop what they are doing and watch the N play, good or bad. How many times do you hear someone say "I have to watch Iowa play" ??? Lol never. Iowa isn't even the best football program in it's own state lol UNI is. Hopefully you guys beat them this year.

Iowas' days are numbered, plain and simple.

Been a rough week for Hawk fans...starting tackle suspended, lose a top recruit to Nebraska, dead silence from the football front about positives, and then have to read about a top player transferring to Big Red. Hang in there guys it may get better.

If you liked that, you should love this......GBR!

University of Nebraska, 1993: Defensive lineman Christian Peter’s punishment for being convicted of third-degree sexual assault? He was put on probation and missed one exhibition game. Peter, a future NFL draft pick, was accused by two other women of sexual assault during his time on campus and arrested a total of eight times for a range of offenses. Kathy Redmond, one of Peter’s accusers, received threatening phone calls and had her car vandalized for reporting the assault. (Peter’s teammate, Lawrence Phillips, was suspended for physically assaulting his girlfriend, but was reinstated by Cornhuskers head coach Tom Osborne in time to play in the 1995 national title game.) Osborne went on to serve three terms in Congress. Peter was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Can he score 40 points by himself? A safety having that many tackles for a team who makes its living off playing Temple and Tulane isn’t a good sign for defensive aptitude.

UCF has a better program than Nebraska right now, hence it means more to play there.......

I mean why would we need to constantly reminded ourselves, when we know for a fact that....

Iowa > Nebraska

Bo was 3-1 vs Iowa. He coaches at the FCS level now. It's ok to admit that Nebraska will field a team that competes now that we don't have the nicest 70 year old coach who starts HIP-HIP-HOORAY chants in the locker room.

It's like if Iowa hired Jeff Brohm; I'd be like damn, Iowa has a chance to be really good under him but I still hate Iowa. No one is expecting Iowa fans to get on their knees for Nebraska and become Husker fans (even tho you all were Nebraska fans in the 90s). But it's ok to have an educated opinion and not just spew hate.

Listen I know you're mad about being a Husker fan for the last decade or so, but don't bring your anger and frustration over here.

Oh and "Iowa's days are numbered, plain and simple" IS spewing hate, and not an educated opinion......just sayin. ;)

I don't like Nebbie and find it funny they come here. And how they easily forget the past few years of curb stomping by Iowa. However, at Least they are a relevant program. Frickin' ISU has more posts on Henrich going to Nebraska than some of their own recruits. Now that is sad and beyond pathetic. I mean at least Nebraska got the kid. ISU losers are popping champagne because Iowa didn't get a kid who didn't even consider the Clowns.

I had no idea he was in their HOF. A rapist....
In this article he describes the day after he was drafted and then cut because of the pressure put on the organization as "the worst day of his life" . . . Really???? The day you raped those women weren't the worst day of you your life. That means you enjoyed . . Another reason Nebraska should not be in the big ten. We get no revenue for tv, their academics are garbage and bring down the conference perspective and they are not that good. Oh well at least Bucky has a place to send recruits who do not academically qualify . .

Brady Reiff is not a starter. UCF fans on your own board said this guy was the weak point of their secondary so I don’t think “Top” is accurate.

This just demonstrates how f$cked up Tom Osborne, the University of Nebraska and the State of Nebraska was and possibly still is. Nebraskans voted Tom Osborne into Congress (for three terms). Just think about that....Osborne allowed guys like Peter and Phillips to sexually abuse / assault women with little to no consequences....and who knows how many victims resulted - due in large part to Osborne's inaction. This makes me sick to no end, and should make the GOOD people in Nebraska question how and why this was allowed to happen and why the University would continue to honor guys like Osborne and Peter.
