Frost & Nubs steal UCF’s returning starting S for 2018

Sure, but to be honest I didn't have to try very hard because I'm not trying to defend a sexual assault enabler.
You are still trying to deflect attention away from iowa's multiple arrests that have happened in the past 6 or so months, including 2 in the last week or two, by dwelling on arrests that happened in Lincoln 23+ years ago.

Good attempt. This round is on me! Cheers!

Drunk player arrests happen every year. No one cares.

No one at iowa cared when Ferentz enabled Cedric Everson to rape a woman and then pressured her not to file charges,

Cedric Everson and Abe Satterfield were both suspended by Ferentz until they transferred. They were never going to see the field again.

"Months later, the victim's mother released letters accusing athletic department officials of encouraging her to keep the matter private and being insensitive to her situation. Those documents had not been turned over to a Board of Regents investigator who had earlier found no wrongdoing.

A subsequent independent investigation found no evidence of a cover-up but faulted other university officials for showing poor judgment and blamed the university's confusing policies for upsetting the victim, a highly recruited athlete who also transferred."

Sorry about the selective memory issue you are dealing with.

"LPD spokeswoman Sgt. Kathy Phillips said officers on the scene of the accident found in their records system that Williams had been convicted of two previous DUI charges in 2004 and 2009. The 2009 conviction occurred in California. The records did not indicate the location of the 2004 offense.

Third-offense DUI with a blood-alcohol level of .150 or more is considered a Class III-A felony, punishable by up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Williams is also facing a revocation of his driver's license for up to 15 years.

Lincoln Police Sgt. Jeri Roeder said Williams rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of Ninth and N. Williams was alone in his car; the other car had three occupants — a female Uber driver and two passengers. None of the three sustained injuries. Roeder said Williams was “completely cooperative” with police upon their arrival at the scene."

"Morgan was initially charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, a felony, and possession of paraphernalia after a traffic stop outside a 7-Eleven on the afternoon of May 6, the day after students finished final exams at UNL."

"Husker safety Antonio Reed, who was with Morgan, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor marijuana possession."

"LINCOLN - University of Nebraska-Lincoln police confirmed they arrested two NU football players this past week.

Police arrested incoming freshman wide receiver Jariah Tolbert late Wednesday night for possession of marijuana. UNL Police said Tolbert ran from an officer in a campus parking lot before being caught and arrested.

Officials also confirmed UNL Police arrested sophomore defensive back Boaz Joseph last Saturday after he stole a bicycle. Joseph took a "Bait Bike" which is a bike tracked by GPS.

This is the second time in the past month officials arrested a husker football player for stealing bikes on campus. Linebacker Josh Banderas faced similar charges in May."

"Nebraska led all Big Ten schools in ejections, as 238 people were ejected from Memorial Stadium during Cornhuskers home games."

"A Lincoln middle school industrial arts teacher and former Nebraska football player has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a child."

Just in case you forgot.

Suspended, but not kicked off of the team? Real brave of Kirk.

Oh the irony!

Zero of those in the past year. Unlike iowa, who is having a players arrested left and right. Solid try tho.

Thank you, i appreciate the honest answer
My life has been shaped for the better by a few instances where I have received undeserved grace from others. The easy thing to do would have been to wash their hands of me or what I did. I'm a better person in a better place because they were willing to believe in me. So, I guess I have a really hard time not hoping for others to receive the same opportunity at redemption that I received. I'm not saying others who disagree are wrong, I just believe that once you've experienced grace at a important time in your life, whether from another human being or spiritually, the lens through which you view situations like this changes.

You’re a real piece of work. Indefinite suspension pending the outcome of investigation is standard procedure, dumbass.

Be nice, he hasn't had to deal with suspensions for the team he roots for. What would it take to get someone suspended at Nebraska?

Truth. It makes his post even more asinine. Even if indefinite suspension was a lax response, it’s still more than his hero ever did in regard to player misconduct. A lot more.

Here’s a different lens for you to look through and consider. I’m positive that the victims’ lives were also shaped (only in the opposite direction of ‘for the better’) - by the undeserved grace served up by Osborne to Phillips and Peter.

Remind me what issues Phillips had after he originally arrested and suspended? Because it would appear that Osborne's move to keep him in a structured program helped Phillips until he left the program, and therefore was no longer surrounded by the structure that helped him correct his course in college.

So after Phillips got into trouble for an incident (in 94) involving assault, vandalism and disturbing the peace (where, as a result, he entered a pre-trial diversion program), he then was involved in an assault incident (in 95) - where he (and I quote) - ‘dragged Kate McEwen out of the apartment by the hair and down three flights of stairs before smashing her head into a mailbox.’

...oh, and just to make sure it isn’t lost on anyone thinking that Osborne must have thrown Phillips off the team (after smashing someone’s head into a mailbox).......he was actually reinstated by Osborne (after six games) and named a starter in the Fiesta Bowl.

Let me know when you want to talk about Christian Peter.
