1. Why were we giving the ball to woody on top of the key late in the game? Nothing good can come from him holding the ball that far from the hoop.
2. Down the stretch why do Jok and uthoff, who collectively shot 60% for the game, not touch the ball and defer to a point guard that shot 30% and had a very tough defender on him?
3. Not spend a time out inbounding the ball late in the game I instead of turning the ball over?
4. On those inbounds, why not send someone deep? No isu player was there and about worst case is they have to go 3/4 court to score versus 4 feet. Everyone on our section saw the miss on the inbounds.
5. Woody was also horrible defensively down the stretch. Lazy play where rather than step up and cut the base line off he'd just throw a hip into the ball handler. Why oh why play him at that point? He was obviously struggling with isu's athletes, he isn't a great rebounder, and as eluded to earlier is a target when he has the ball.
6. Uthoff couldn't have played a better first half then flat out quit even wanting the ball after they clamped down on him in the second half and he missed his first couple shots.
Very tough to lose the game in the fashion we did. The long time isu fan sitting next to me said it best right after the game that our coaching was horrible and probably cost us the game.
