Fun news for Des Moines based Iowa baseball fans

Chad Leistikow just notified his "text group" that Iowa's series against Florida International (May 16, 17 and 18) will be played at Principal Park in Des Moines.

I'd think season ticket holders will get in without having to buy add'l tickets (sure hope that's the case)

@GolfHacker1 . . . considering the need for NIL support for the Iowa baseball program, it would sure be fantastic if Iowa Cubs' management would be willing to negotiate a deal with the Iowa baseball program to have Principal Park host a series every year. Raising the program's profile here in Des Moines and offering access to games would likely be a nice boost. (Sending you a text on a separate issue)
