Funny (not really) when IOWA signs a recruit

Yeah I get what your saying it really shows how flawed the star rating system is. they seem to base it more on how much interest the recruit is getting and from what programs.

It's almost entirely based on which schools are offering. KF knows this and it's why he laughs at the rankings. Having said that, he has spent too much time during his 19 years poaching from MAC-level programs.

You wouldn't know a good recruit if your sister dated him.

How about Luther College level

I cannot believe people are so dumb that they think this is actually a thing. Wow. Like cm99 said, guys get bumped up all the damn time after signing. But that wouldn't meet the criteria of complaining about how iowa gets screwed in everything, as if a player's rating changing now makes them a better or worse player. Do you really care that much??? If you do, get a hobby that would positively influence you or someone else's life. Wow

Edit:hawk2011 posted about getting bumped. My apologies
I want that damn #1 recruiting ranking though, dammit!!

Iowa is operating at full strength on recruiting. We’re targeting guys that will fit well within our system, and doing it really well the past three years. In Kirk’s prior runs they did it with guys that were lesser known, and were built up with S&C to be monsters.

Now, we have the same S&C and are getting in a higher caliber athlete.

Hawkeye football looks bright.

Who cares? in the grand scheme of things does it really matter. The same 5-10 teams have dominated recruiting rankings for decades, but that doesn't always translate to success on the field (most of the time yes- but USC, UCLA, Texas, ND all says hello
