So Dillion Gabriel broke Case Keenums record for total TD's with 177. An incredible number. But what do these modern records mean at this point? At least Clark destroying all the records came within the context of a "normal career", (sorry Sheryl Swoopes). Still consider that Gabriel a SIXTH year player has started 59 career games. By the end of his career he will have started potentially SIXTY FOUR games in college, breaking the record of Bo Nix (the previous Oregon QB) 61 career starts. Certainly with the "covid clause" going away these start and stat records would end the record book you'd have to think. I guess you could start 4 games as a freshman then redshirt, then start 4 years. Even then your have to start all four years and go all the way to the CFP championship every year to get to 64 I believe.....
