After all the drama over this couple of months it is a relief to finally have one more shot at watching the Hawkeyes on the field!
There are only 14 gamedays out of 365 days of the year and in my addled brain those 14 days are still mighty special.
Win or lose, I will support my Hawkeyes and most definitely mention that love in my obit, like many great Hawkeye fans do every week in the Sunday DMR obits.
You know you are old when you even entertain those notions but I guess the new year has me in a reflective mood.
C'mon Hawkeyes go out there and win one for the ole gipper( KF, not me...ok for me too).
