Is it a real possibility he flips back? Are others trying to recruit him too?
I know he's flipped once but so has Cass...and I hate think that he's still considering others...so I don't think saying he's already changed his mind once is enough to warrant legitimacy...

Folks on this board have stated the staff has stayed in touch with him. Won't be for certain until he signs an NLI, and even then he could change his mind with a release or RS depending on the circumstances.

I have no idea how to answer your question. I am just shooting from the hip and speculating but one would think the longer this goes the worse our chances are at flipping Gavin Teasdale.. Since Teasdale decomitted we have picked up Mejia and I have heard we are going strong for Brody Teske. If this is true then I think whatever $$ they had set aside for Gavin is dwindling quickly. Doubtful that Gavin would flip back to Iowa for less money than he was previously offered... But again, I have no idea - just what I was thinking...l.

He wasn't offered anything by Iowa, as it was too early to discuss money when he made his verbal.

The 133 situation is extremely messy, and Iowa is currently recruiting Teasdale, Teske, and several others. No idea how it's going to shake out, but fingers crossed we get one of these guys. Our staff really wants to land a 133 in this class

This is the correct statement and this is also why people think there is still a chance to flip GT. Penn State was just allowed to talk Dollars and Cents with GT as well and while no one knows for sure, the speculation is that PSU doesn't have much in the way of $$$ to offer him. Now that he is actually looking at real offers, he can make an informed decision. Commitments prior to July 1st for the Junior class aren't worth too much. However, the longer he stays committed following the real offers, the greater chance he is staying put. If I was a betting man I would bet on GT staying at PSU, he seems to be all about PSU on social media. Who knows though, I just wouldn't get your hopes up is all.

That's cool. We'll just have to settle for RBY, then.

PSU coaches did a home visit on day one to RBY and RBY tweeted out how excited he is to get to PSU. He's definitely going there.

Yeah, I saw all that. A lot can happen in 5 months and one would think something has to give. Unless, of course, some of these young men want to sit. If that's the case then more power to them. Doubt that's in any of their DNA, though..

I think he stays psu. It was rumored after the decommit that money wasn't going to be an issue for him (rich uncle) although I have no idea how true that is. IMO we don't get Teske either so I believe we roll with Mejia/Stickley and hope for a Woods or Millage for some competition.

I meant to post this last night, but I was told from a very reliable source that one of the Brands was literally at Teske's house at 12:01(am, as in 1 minute past midnight!! :))

Edit: I meant to say the first day of legal recruiting....

So yes, it appears pretty strong!!

Maybe a visit to RBY? GT still in play? Teske? Rider? I'm a clueless Hawk fan without my Hawkeye brethren giving nuggets between the written lines lol.

Teske and family have a tough decision to make. Earn a spot in the Hawkeyes lineup and train with world class guys in your weight range OR go to ISU for probably a little more Scholly $$$ but zero elite level training partners.
Good luck to him whichever route he chooses.

Not to mention a proven coaching staff vs an unproven coaching staff. I don't care what you say about KD at VT, he's starting over with the track record ISU has had since Carl left.
