Offensive pass interference by Kittle wiped out what would have been a HUGE play prior to the end of the 1st half.
It would have been a 42-yard pass to Kittle to get into FG range, late first half. The controversial OPI negates it.
The call cost the 49'ers a 3 point half time lead.

talk about a case of the yips with the SF play calling...
Yep, should have done a better job of getting the ball to Kittle even if he was getting double teamed. QB didn’t look like he was seeing the field well for most of the game.
If Jimmy hits Kittle on a couple plays (see what follows), do the 49ers win?

Boy, my eyes are getting worse. At first I thought it read, "Jimmy Kimmel". When I saw that play, I shouted, "He missed Kittle, he was open!!!" BTW I was the only one in the room.
It still is hard to believe that the 49ers had a 20-10 lead heading to the 4th qtr and then got outscored 21-0.
that has to be a hard pill to swallow for the defense and the offense. offense does nothing and the D gives up 21 points in the final quarter! in the damn Super Bowl!
a lot of people are questioning Kyle Shanahan's decision making at the end of the 1st half; he did not call a time out (when he had all 3) and lost over 30 seconds. Even the GM (John Lynch) in the luxury suite was seen standing, hand motioning a time out. 90 seconds & 2 time outs would have been enough to drive down the field; instead, the clock ran down to around 1 minute.
I thought it was unusual that Richard Sherman let his man get the best of him on 2 separate occasions.
