1st Video: George Kittle's block (he is lined up on the left side) was key to this 83 yard Matt Breida 49'ers TD run. The 49'ers took a quick 7-0 first quarter lead.

2nd Video: The best part about the 2nd video isn’t even Matt Breida’s celebration. It’s George Kittle sliding in safe at the end!

Here are highlights of George & the 49'ers (4-0) 31-3 victory over Cleveland on Monday Night.

The 1st 49'ers TD run: George Kittle's block (he is lined up on the left side) was key to this 83 yard 49'ers TD run. The 49'ers took a quick 7-0 first quarter lead.

Kittle also had a 22 yard TD reception, of course.

Blocking. Catching. Yards after the Catch (YAC). What doesn't he do?

Watch the 2 1/2 minutes of Highlights Here:

Kittle is a rare breed and needs to get a big pay raise before his contract is up. Seems weird that he gets paid a fraction of what TJ Hock is paid (and I think TJ will be worth what he's paid). Not only has he proven his worth with his play, he has generated unbelievable goodwill and good press for the organization. Getting fans in the seats, and selling a lot of Kittle merch.

Pretty cool father / son relationship.

Here is a longer, 4 minute version of the above video that I posted on Monday, Oct 7, before the Monday Night Football game (post #115 above).

As you can see, Kittle and his father share a special bond through letters.

In this video, George Kittle and his father, Bruce, take us inside their intimate pregame ritual that sees Bruce write a letter to help George lock in on game day.

Someone explain how his stats weren’t 10 times better in college.
Maybe try doing some research before blaming his slow start on the coaches. Like a lot of kids who come out of high school he was neither physically or emotionally ready to be a college player. If his dad hadn't been a former Hawkeye captain, George would probably have been playing WR at some D2 college. For some insight try reading the ESPN the magazine article on George, and his family. In it he is very frank, that he never took the game seriously until around his soph year at Iowa, and the coaches, KF personally I believe, got in his ass and told him it was time to get serious about the game if he wanted to do something in football. Basically Kittle stopped partying and dedicated himself to being the best player he could be. It was THAT day that made him the player he is today, from his own words.....

George himself said he struggled with this early on and didnt really start taking it seriously until 15 and 16
Yes, and that was after a meeting with the captain, who told him it was time to pull his head out, and put forth the effort if wanted to be the kind of player he could become. That day he turned his efforts into becoming the best player he could be, and led to what you see today.....
