Get ball in your play makers' hands; create mismatches; that's what Wisky did to us

They had their RB going out for passes more times than I can count, and he was matched up with an Iowa LB, who could not keep up; this is just ONE THING Iowa could try; create mismatches with Wadley; hit him in stride; don't have him run over the middle and stop, catch the ball, and get drilled

We usually need the RB to block, otherwise CJ will get killed.

But I agree with you.

This staff often tries too hard to fix the macro problems rather than tweaking/adjusting things week to week. Why not have Fant or Jerminic catch a WR screen instead of feeding McCarron all the time? Why not split Fant wide out for a few snaps? Why not take out the sight adjusts and run some different routes? We have some WRs not playing - why not create a personnel package?

Throughout the game Wisky had a WR in motion, where the hand off could have occurred via the jet sweep, or the QB could have handed to a RB; they had Iowa guessing where the ball was.

Wisky had the FB coming out of the backfield once, too.

It would be nice if our offense kept the opposing defense guessing where the ball was.
