It is exactly the same. isu grads were sure Morgan was the savior after natty light larry just as they are sure Prohm is the next savior.
Not me. That was the most underwhelming ISU coaching hire of any in my 30 years being a fan. It was well documented at the time that he was a fallback to the fallback of the fallback option. He could "recruit" and that was it.
I have no idea about Prohm yet. Time will tell.

Iowa State lost in the first round to UAB last year. It sucked. I honestly don't care how the Texas Ten does in the tournament, it has nothing to do with Iowa State. Once the tournament starts there is only team that matters to me

Besides UNI, ISU does not have a loss against a team outside the top 25 in rpi.
Sure they've lost a few close ones, but doesn't mean the season can't be a success.
